We get a lot of mourning doves in the backyard, but this one posed so nicely that I had to take the picture. This one was taken Feb 2, 2004 in Jacksonville, NC.	Cardinal picture of "old baldy" was taken June 1, 2003.	Two cardinal pictures taken last year in NC. May 23, 2003

	Red Pileated Woodpecker, Sept 6, 2004 I have only seen this bird twice, and this is the first time that I've seen it in our backyard. The bird is about 14 inches tall.
