Last summer in July we had two baby goldfinches come out of their nest in the gum tree and into our backyard while they learned to fly. They were back there for 3 days
		We had fun mapping out our baby birds' progress around the yard. Each morning my husband and I had a "Where's Waldo" search to see where they ended up the previous day. We were sad to see them both fly off over the fence on the third day, about 8 hours apart.
